Course Agreement: Moving Freely in Your Body

1. Overview

By enrolling in Moving Freely in Your Body, you agree to the following terms. This agreement is intended to create clarity, fairness, and aligned expectations between you and the course provider, Taro Iwamoto / Hasu Somatics LLC.

What You Receive

  • Lifetime access to the Moving Freely in Your Body online course

  • Access to a private community for support and discussion

  • Access to regular group coaching / mentoring Zoom calls, as included in the program

Your Commitment

This course is an invitation into a different way of learning — one that asks for presence, curiosity, patience, and ongoing engagement with your own experience.

By enrolling, you understand and agree that:

  • You are responsible for your own participation, choices, and engagement with the course

  • Change may unfold gradually and differently for each person

  • This course is educational in nature and is not a substitute for medical treatment, physical therapy, mental health care, diagnosis, or advice from a licensed healthcare provider

2. Payment and Refund Policy

Course Fee

The course fee is $2,200 USD, payable in full at the time of enrollment unless otherwise stated in writing.

Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)

For eligible students, third-party financing options such as Affirm or Klarna may be available at checkout. These options are provided, approved, and managed entirely by the third-party provider. The course provider does not manage, collect, or enforce installment payments under BNPL agreements.

Enrollment and Access

Access to the course is granted only after payment has been successfully processed or BNPL financing has been approved.

Failed or Incomplete Payments

If payment is not completed, is declined, reversed, or later disputed, course access may be suspended until the issue is resolved.

No Refunds

All sales are final. No refunds will be granted once enrollment is complete.

Because this course includes immediate access to digital materials, course content, and program resources, this no-refund policy applies to one-time payments and any third-party financing option used for purchase.

3. Course Access and Participation

  • Course access is non-transferable and for individual use only

  • Sharing course materials, recordings, or login credentials is strictly prohibited

  • The course provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation, without refund, if course guidelines are violated or if conduct is disruptive to the community

4. Educational Nature of the Course

Moving Freely in Your Body provides education in somatic movement, body awareness, and movement learning.

It is designed to support learning and exploration through gentle movement and awareness-based practice. It is not medical care, physical therapy, psychotherapy, or rehabilitation.

By participating in this course, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily taking part in movement-based learning and accept responsibility for your own choices, participation, and wellbeing.

5. Liability and Results

Individual experiences and results will vary.

The course provider makes no guarantee regarding any particular outcome or result from participation in the course.

By participating, you accept full responsibility for your own experience and participation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taro Iwamoto / Hasu Somatics LLC is not responsible for any physical, emotional, or mental health outcomes arising from participation in the course.

6. Legal Terms

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

Any updates to this agreement will apply to future enrollments and will not retroactively alter agreed-upon payment terms for existing students.

Reasonable efforts will be made to help resolve access issues.

8. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in the course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, including the payment, access, and refund policies outlined above.
