This video series includes 4 short (20 minutes) videos of mindful exercises for functional strength & flexibility. Each video contains 3 exercises with demonstrations, instructions, suggestions for modification of exercises, and explanation of what each exercise works on.

Exercises are relatively simple, but very effective. How you perform exercise makes it very effective and challenging. Quality of movement is key!

It is my belief that training movements and bodies in a way we use in everyday life makes exercise functional. Limbs and trunk work together in functions, so it makes sense functionally to work limbs and torso together to improve strength and flexibility of your limbs and core. Exercises I have designed in this program therefore address whole body strength and flexibility in a functional way.

  1. Quality over Quantity! Please pay attention to quality of movement, breathing.

  2. Move within range of your own comfort. Don’t push. Don’t strain. You gain more by doing less.

  3. Pace yourself. Adjust pace, duration/repetitions of exercises, rest, modify range of motion as needed.
